Exploring the Different Bowling Variations
BOWLING VARIATIONS: Skee Ball
Skee Ball has recently received public acclaim as an event in which to take part on scheduled evenings during the week, much like bowling leagues. Most people recognize the game as one that was played in amusement parks, but nowadays it’s actually categorized as a form of bowling, due to the underhand delivery motion of a round ball.
Skee Ball leagues have gained popularity in the last few years in the Washington metropolitan area, and in the New York and New England locales, and the game is spreading. Leagues utilize the standard Skee Ball platform of rolling a ball up a ramp in an attempt to land it any of several cut-out holes, with point values given to the more difficult target areas.
