Kimberly Pressler, who first gained fame as Miss USA 1999 and since has gained international recognition as one of television’s most sought-after television sideline reporters, will join the ESPN television crew as a reporter on the PBA World Series of Bowling telecasts from South Point Bowling Center in Las Vegas.
Pressler, who once worked for the U.S. Department of Energy at a nuclear power plant, has hosted television programs for ABC, MTV, ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC and the Speed Network. She has covered events ranging from the ACIS Fitness National Championships to the Traxxas TORC truck racing series, from the Red Bull X-Fighters series to the X-Games.
“Kimberly will bring another special touch to our World Series shows emanating from las vegas,” said PBA COO and Deputy Commissioner Tom Clark. “The World Series of Bowling has grown extremely fast and has sponsors, fans and players excited about the possibilities. Kimberly will help Rob Stone and Randy Pedersen bring bowling’s ultimate festival to life on ESPN.”
"It'll great to be part of ESPN's coverage of the World Series of Bowling,” Pressler said. “Even though I'm new to the sport, this is a very special event for the PBA and its fans, and I'm looking forward to being part of it."
